Obstetrics and Gynecology is an allied subject included in the syllabus of B.P.T The subject consists of following parts :

• 1. Obstetrics : Study of a female interns of normal and abnormal Pregnancy, labour, and puerperium.
• 2. Gynecology :Study of diseases related to the female reproductive system.
• 3. Neonatology : Study of infant care and the various disorders of neonates and infant.

The students are taught with the tools of Torso, Models, Chart, Specimens, Instruments, etc. present in the department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. All the above tools of teaching are displayed in the department so that students can get the keen knowledge in the subject. As this clinical subject is quite interesting, to make it more exciting, monthly seminars are also conducted in the whole academic year. According to one Professor, one Reader and one Lecturer are appointed by the trust of the college to get a good result in theory as well as in the practical with an indeed knowledge of the subject so that in future, students can diagnose the case correctly. Hence students have their regular clinical classes in OPD and IPD of Satyanarayan Hospital of the college.
